To Report a Power Outage
Customers can report an outage or get an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR), view PSE&G outage maps, and more by logging in to My Account on a computer or mobile device.
To report an outage by phone call1-800-436-PSEG (7734)or text "OUT" to 4PSEG (47734) –register your phone first by texting "REG" to 4PSEG.
You can also report an outage through PSE&G’s app or withAmazon's Alexa or Google Assistant.
To Receive Updates
Sign up for PSE&G’s MyAlerts and you will receive real-time power outage updates to your cell phone and/or email.
PSE&G reports outages and number of customers affected on the PSE&G outage map.
You can also get updates on restoration progress, information on safety and preparation, and more by following PSE&G on Facebook and Twitter.
If a customer wishes to customer service escalate an issue during a call to PSE&G, the customer can request to speak with a supervisor. PSE&G Customer Service Supervisors have access to Electric Division Managers and personnel to provide questions pertaining to restoration progress.
