Removal of noxious weeds, brush, and other debris

Any brush, weeds, dead and dying trees, stumps, roots, obnoxious growths, filth, garbage, trash and debris found on a property and considered harmful to public’s health, safety and general welfare or if they constitute a fire hazard, must be removed by the owner or tenant of the property. Removal must be done within 10 days after the owner is given a written notice from the township.
Should the owner fail to remove the offending substances, then the township will have them removed and the cost may be charged against the property.
