Where can I get my pet microchipped?

Category: Animal Adoption

Microchipping increases the chances of lost pets being reunited with their owners.

The Animal Shelter offers microchipping for $20.

The procedure takes less than a minute; a chip smaller than a grain of rice is inserted below the skin of the pet and enables officials to find the pet owner faster when the pet goes missing and is picked up by Animal Control Officers.

You can call the animal shelter at 973-744-8600 to make an appointment OR you can walk in during shelter open hours of 1pm to 4pm daily and an Animal Control Officer or Veterinarian Technician will be able to assist you.
