The Montclair Health Department usually host free rabies clinics each year in February, May and September at the Montclair Township Animal Shelter. All cats must be in carriers and all dogs must be on leashes, 6' regular leashes, no flexi leads, please. Owners are asked to please maintain a safe distance between pets while on line.
Clinic dates will posted on the township website and on the animal shelter FB page once they are scheduled.
The rabies vaccine the Health Department administers is good for one year for puppies and kittens. Subsequent rabies vaccinations are good for three years.
Please note: Your dog/cat must have a current vaccination to renew a dog/cat license.
